Jumbo bags can preserve the bags from air, dust, and sunlight.
Jumbo bags are specifically designed to handle long distance transportation such as exports from a city to another, or from a country to other countries.

Shrinked 25 KG Bags on Wooden Pallets
Pallets, on the contrary to the jumbo bags, are manufactured for short transportation.
In this case, several 25 kg bags of sodium hydroxide are placed on a strong and durable wooden pallet. Then these bags are shrinked with plastic and ready to transfer to the container.
These shrinked bags are covered with a plastic cover again to protect caustic soda from the air moisture, rain, and dust.
Unlike the jumbo bags, pallets cannot protect caustic soda from the sunlight, so, when it is arrived at the destination, it should be placed in the cool place or under shades to prevent caustic sodas from decomposing.
IBC Bulk Container
Caustic soda liquid or lye is contained in IBCs and drums. IBC can be filled with 100-1200 kg of lye, whereas drums are able to produce 200-220 kg of liquid sodium hydroxide.
